WhatsApp has unveiled that WhatsApp will stop working on these smartphones after 31st December 2019, causing Millions of accounts to shut down.

These smartphones won’t work with Whatsapp after 31st Dec 2019

WhatsApp administration has announced to finish support for these phones and operating systems details of which are listed given below:

• All Windows Phone operating systems after December 31, 2019
• Android versions 2.3.7 and older after February 1, 2020
• iPhone iOS 7 and older after February 1, 2020

As security patches have stopped for these platforms, WhatsApp said in its blog post while stating the above mentioned cut off dates.

WhatsApp has already finished support for BlackBerry OS and 10, Nokia S40, Android 2.1 and Android 2.2, Nokia Symbian S60, Windows Phone 7 and iPhone 3GS/iOS 6 as of 2016.
