Nintendo Announces Nintendo Switch Lite
Nintendo has just introduced a smaller, more affordable Switch model Switch Lite.
Switch Lite integrates controls and does not support video output to TV. Having said that, Switch Lite is designed for handheld gaming design. You can only support handheld mode games in the Nintendo Switch Library and easily identify them via the Handheld Mode icon.
Switch Lite features a 5.5-inch 720p touchscreen display and battery life of approximately 3 to 7 hours, depending on the game you play. Due to the more energy-efficient chip layout, the battery mileage is slightly better than the Switch (about 2.5 to 6.5 hours).
Switch Lite will be available on September 20th and will retail for $199.99 in three colors: yellow, gray and turquoise. Screen savers for Switch Lite will also be available.
