Everything Interesting to Know About the Ghost Recon Breakpoint
The next series which is about to come out in the Tom Clancy’s breathtaking thriller is none other but the Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Set to build on the same environment and gaming engine on which the Ghost Recon Wildland has been built, the game is about to bring a military survival aspect into life. There is so much what’s about to take place in the new Breakpoint sequel putting a deeper focus at what’s it like to battle out in an open world battle-field with constant threat awaiting you at the horizon.
The game is going to be a little different from the previous versions because the battle mode in it is about to get more tactical. This battle is about to travel from Bolivia into the Pacific island of Auroa. The island is home to a Skell technology facility and your story begins when your helicopter crashes somewhere on the island. With limited gear, you may now have to survive the enemy threat all around.
And guess who you are about to face in this game?
Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) is about to make the game a whole lot challenging for you.
As far as the Release Date is Concerned…

Alongside the release of the new cinematic trailer featuring Jon Bernthal’s character as Colonel Cole D. Walker during E3 2019 event, the game developers also presented exciting news for fans out there.
Breakpoint’s Beta version is apparently set to release at least a month before the official release on the 5th of September 2019. To access beta, players will have to register themselves before the date.
The access for the beta version will be available to all those who register themselves only may it be through PS4, Xbox or PC. If you’re a fan of Ghost Recon and would love to get your hands on the action before the official release, you can pre-purchase the game and get your hands on the beta too.
Gun Shots, Drones and Celebrities?! Is there More?
The official trailer for the Ghost Recon Breakpoint reveals several in-game features and explains what players can expect from the game. To be precise, one thing is for sure that we are about to see some interesting gun battles, tactical takeouts, and extreme survivability. If you have a knack for stealthy action, then Breakpoint has got it along with battles using helicopters, planes, speedboats and advanced technology. And talking about celebrities, we’ve got Bernthal who appears as a masked poncho at the end of the cinematic trailer. Happens to be that Mr. Bernthal is about to lead his own team of wolves to find you and gun you down.
As the game depicts, Colonel Walker (Jon Bernthal) happens to be a Ghost gone rogue and that makes things quite a lot more challenging for the players. You, as a Ghost, have to battle another Ghost who is equally equipped with the same talent just as you’re. So, in a way, you will be battling someone who holds the same expertise and similar strategic mind just as you do; who knows where and how the danger is going to come around knocking right at your doorstep. One way or the other, you gotta have to stay careful and on your toes.

Everything Interesting About the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
So what’s in store for all the eager fans of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint just waiting to play this game?
Semi-Permanent Injuries
Unlike any other Ghost Recon game, the Breakpoint injuries are going to be lethal and will affect your overall gameplay. If your character takes a lot of damage in the Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you will get inflicted with a semi-permanent wound. Such wounds will impact your aim sensitivity to your movement speed. The severity of the wound will eventually decide how bad you are going to perform.
Injuries can happen through a stab, a gunshot wound or even while traversing the landscape. Suppose that you slip and take a fall 20ft below in a ditch and break your leg, be prepared to crawl your way out.
There is no particular news on how players can get themselves injured, there might be many others that we aren’t aware of now. But, the only way to heal is by using ailments, syringes or back to Bivouacs.
Create Bivouacs Around the Map
Speaking of Bivouacs, these are temporary shelters usually built using leaves and a prop to set up the tent. Mountaineers and soldiers often make bivouacs when they are in a battle or busy hiking.
In Breakpoint, be prepared to create bivouacs across the entire map of the game.
It will be a place for your character to rest and heal up on injuries. Here, they can also improve their character’s class as well as improve his gears. Bivouacs will also work as a fast-travel point for the players. So, the next time they are about to embark on a mission, they can easily travel to a nearby Bivouac instead of crossing the entire map on foot.
More Military Vehicles & Better Loot Drops
In Ghost Recon Wildlands, there are plenty of military vehicles but only a few come with mounted weapons. However, in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, things are about to change because you will see more armored vehicles, attack helicopters, and jeeps with mounted weapons. If that’s not all, then better be prepared for some drones and other advanced technologies which will be on the go to hunt you down.
Another great thing about the Breakpoint is going to be enemy loot drops. Unlike Wildlands, enemy goons will drop different rarity weapons. Not clearly sure what stats they will hold, they will turn out to be uncommon weapons which players wouldn’t be expecting to get their hands-on easily in the game.
One more interesting thing about the game is that it will contain interesting gear and cosmetics. As a new player, you can access these cosmetics and gears by simply unlocking chests across the map.
Exciting New Way to Camouflage
Are enemies about to chase you down and you can’t find a natural cover nearby? Why not blend in with the mud on the ground. In the new Breakpoint, you will have the ability to cover yourself in mud so it becomes difficult for your enemies to spot you. It is not quite an interactive new add-on, but it is definitely something new which hasn’t been adopted by any of the previous versions of Ghost Recon.
The camouflage is just another trick up your sleeve which you can make use of in dire situations.
But that’s not all where Ubisoft draws the line with its magnanimously amazing release of the new Ghost Recon Breakpoint; players are about to see some raids where four players can co-op together. Not only that, players will have a new way of breaching enemy compounds and will experience class-based progression during the game. And that’s not all, because there will be more so stay tuned.
